In 2014 from 22nd to27th August there was an international youth exchange «S.E.L.F.-branding» with the participation of Turkey, Portugal and Estonia. 

 

During the youth exchange the participants did self-questioning on the topic “Who am I?”, then each person drew up a story “My story”. The participants discussed various topics in order to make a good impression on employer.

During the group work the theme “Speak properly” was discussed, basic CV points and the rules of filling in European passport- Europass were learnt. After that fascinating photo session and making up creative video- CV waited for the children. 

During the breaks funny energizers from each country participating in the project helped youngsters to get rid of stress and be filled with energy. 

Besides the basic work our team had excursion in the House of Arts, a tour of the city and Narva Castle territory. The participants of the exchange visited Resurrection Cathedral, Narva Colledge, and also went to Narva-Jõesuu, having sport games by the seashore.

Each team introduced cultural features and national traditions of their countries (symbols, cuisine, dances) to the other participants. At the end of the project the participants presented their video- CVs, analyzed their basic knowledge, skills and abilities that they gained during the project, in order to fill in Youthpasses.
Erasmus+ presentation introduced the opportunities of this programme to the participants.

Moreover, youngsters had the possibility to improve their language skills, as the communication was in English.

At the end of the project there was a masquerade party with jokes, games, dances, presents and contacts exchange. In general 22 people participated in the exchange: 8 participants from Turkey, 8 from Portugal and 6 from Estonia. The project was funded by Youth Agency of Erasmus+ programme.
