“60 days on a roller coaster”, I would describe with these words my first two months in
Estonia.
Since the first day I had to face many challenges, like anyone who starts an adventure like
this, you are thrown into a completely new world and your comfort zone doesn`t exist.
Slowly all your insecurities emerge and push you to the limit till the point to giving up, but
it’s at this point that you have to bring out your full strength and remember why you started
this journey.
Like on roller coasters, at first you are afraid: the speed, turns, the darkness of the tunnels but then,
you reach the highest point with your adrenalin pumping... and in that exact moment you`re not
scared anymore. In this first two months I faced many tunnels and turns, sometimes with fear
sometimes with bravery. I don’t know when I’ll reach the highest point, but I know for sure that at
the end of the ride, my only fear will be to get off.
TWO MONTHS LIVED INTENSELY
Thanks to the opportunity to work in two different worlds in the same place, I feel that I’m living two experiences at the price of one: working at ESN TV, I’ve been able to discover my skills and limits and thanks to the Youth Centre I’ve been able to challenge myself with new activities like hosting workshops and an English Club.
There are 10 months full of projects and challenges ahead of me and I hope to lived them as I have live these two months.
