Trauma-Informed approach is actively being implemented in professional fields, education, and youth work. This approach is based on understanding the mechanisms of psychological trauma and its impact on a person's life. Professionals with knowledge of trauma and its consequences can help participants and learners cope with traumatic events, learn self-regulation, and recover.
Trauma-informed work includes adapting programs to the participants' experiences, creating a safe and supportive environment and structure for restoring self-regulation.
This will be the focus of the workshop on May 20-21. It will also cover embodiment, working through the body, and gaining a deeper understanding of oneself.
