Seminar for youth workers and educators

Re:Connect

10-14 June 2025 | Ribnica na Pohorju, Slovenia
Re:Connect is an international peer-led seminar, initiated by a group of Ukrainian activists following the Embrace Resilience; project. It brings together youth workers, educators, and changemakers to explore how we restore, reconnect, and rebuild in times of personal and collective challenge.
This is not a training course. There is no official trainer. Instead, the space will be held by a facilitator, and shaped by you—the participants. We’ll co-create the content together based on what we bring, offer, and need.
We welcome those who want to share and exchange practices, ideas, and experiences around:
🧘 Mindfulness and emotional regulation
🕊️ Peace dialogues and nonviolent communication
🌿 Trauma-informed approaches in youth work
🌀 Restorative practices for healing and connection
There will be space to offer your own workshops, initiate conversations, create together, and reflect—gently, openly, and without pressure. The focus is on connection, presence, and collaboration.
Come as you are. Share what you can. Let’s Re:Connect.

Program
Re:Connect is a co-created, peer-led seminar shaped by what each participant brings.
We ground our approach in:
🌿 Nature – Our surroundings in Slovenia will support us in slowing down, reflecting, and reconnecting. Sessions may take place outdoors in nature.
🧘 Mindfulness & Embodiment – Each day includes simple grounding practices like movement, breathwork, or silence to help us stay present.
🤝 Co-Creation & Sharing – There’s no fixed agenda. Participants are invited to offer workshops, host conversations, or share tools and experiences.
🌌 Safer, Trauma-Aware Space – We nurture an atmosphere of care, respect, and openness—where everyone can show up as they are.
We will connect, reflect, and plant seeds for future collaborations—together.
