Young Journalists Programme

March-May 2025
Are you interested in a career in journalism and eager to tell stories that connect and inspire young people across Europe? Would you like to develop your skills and get hands-on experience while working on transnational topic with newsrooms from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, and Poland?

Then apply to become part of the Young Journalists Programme, a three-month tailor-made mentorship by experienced journalists from the PERSPECTIVES2 network of newsrooms.
What is PERSPECTIVES2? It is the label for young, constructive and multi-perspective journalism! Our aim is to amplify voices of young people and explore topics that are relevant and interesting to them. A hallmark of the project is its transnational-by-default approach—most stories are developed collaboratively with at least two newsrooms to ensure diverse perspectives and cross-border relevance. This year, our focus is on non-metropolitan areas and we are going to be especially looking for stories connected to experiences and challenges of young people living outside of big cities.
