YOUTHopia is an Erasmus+ project bringing together young people from Croatia, Spain, and Estonia to reimagine and transform public spaces in their communities. The project empowers youth—especially those with fewer opportunities—to participate in decision-making about urban spaces, develop political literacy, and learn how to advocate for more inclusive, accessible environments.
Over 18 months, YOUTHopia will combine local activities, international exchanges, and creative workshops to build skills, foster active citizenship, and inspire positive changes. Through collaboration with peers and local authorities, participants will design and implement ideas for public spaces that reflect young people’s needs, ultimately creating a guide to share their experiences and encourage similar initiatives across Europe.
